No I have not. But I'm still trying to.

Double checking - Introducing yourself by paper mail beats by email. Many lodges are terrible at responding to email. Lacking response by any of these remote contact methods within a month, show up in person about an hour before their listed monthly meeting. Introduce yourself. Tell them you asked a man you know to be a Mason how to become a Mason and you were referred to them. Ask what they will expect of you before they will sign your petition.

Masonry is face to face primarily. In the US showing up is the way to go. You should try other contact methods first but do not let any lack of response slow you down. We have a tradition of making sure a candidate is seriously about becoming a Mason and some lodges include lack of response in their strategy. Other lodges as simply bad at responding unless you show up in person. Either way show up and extend the hand of friendship.

Well I'm in the 1st District so send me your email by pm and I will get it forward to the district president who covers that area. Hopefully with a contact number for you also.

Peace. I never found the lodge over in Scranton. Do you have another contact in that area or in Wilkes barre?
