Some jurisdictions allow you to resign from Freemasonry and you are no longer a Master Mason.Well, you'll always be a RAM now that you've received your degrees, like you'll always be a MM. You can't do much about that, IMO.
Demiting and removing your affiliation from any Chapters will be the next best thing.
His sig states "Past Everything -Grandview Masonic Lodge #266" Methinks he means in his Lodge.I see your sig line Past Everything. You seem very young to be a past grand master.

Hey, take complements of being young while you can. There will be a day when people say you look young for 60, and you just sigh.My avatar was initially Teddy Roosevelt when I first joined. I didn't want anyone to make assumptions or jump to conclusions due to my young (relative to Freemasonry) age.
Anyhow, Bro. Lins is correct, no GMs in my home lodge.
Non-payment of dues will affect your Blue Lodge & OES.You have received some good advice, here are my suggestions. 1. Get a certificate of Good Standing and move to a different Chapter. 2. Demit. 3. Don't do anything and go suspended for non payment of dues.4.(What I would do.) Hold your head high, become active and make the needed changes from within. You can't fix or change what's going on sitting on the couch at home. You have to be "That Guy" who takes the leadership role and make it a better Chapter for the next Mason to join.
Depending on the GL. It would not have an effect in any of mine.Non-payment of dues will affect your Blue Lodge & OES.
