With a 7% RT rating and 2.6 from IMDB, it's hard to recommend this movie.. no, in fact it is evil.. that said it is a rare one where the brotherhood of freemasonry is central to the plot..

But, man... the acting is painful to watch..
"Brothers War"
"The story is set in the latter days of World War 2, against the backdrop of fierce combat on the eastern front. Brother's War is based on real events. The western Allies push into Germany and the Red Army fights its way towards Berlin. Churchill is worried about Russia's post-war plans for Europe but must not endanger the increasingly threatened alliance between the west and Russia. A British military officer attached to the Red Army discovers a Russian war crime against the Polish government in exile and is seized by Stalin's feared intelligence service. He finds unexpected help from an enemy and fellow prisoner, a German Captain. They discover a common bond in Freemasonry and are bound by honor, oath and secrets. They are joined by Anna, a beautiful Polish nurse cast adrift on the tides of war. The three are pursued by A ruthless Russian commander through Germany carrying a secret that can change the outcome of the world and the fate of millions. Brother's War was produced with strict attention to historic accuracy and military detail and portrays the horrors and heroism of desperate battles. The film also opens the door into the ancient order of Freemasons and presents unmatched insight on the real histories of these men, brothers all, who have fought in every war for hundreds of years. The comments below are about a different movie, a poorly rated war flick. This pic is Jake Gyllenhaal in the very well reviewed "Prisoners." https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/prisoners_2013 . Haven't seen but Gyllenhaal's character does have a Masonic ring through the movie.

PRISONERS, from Oscar (R)-nominated director Denis Villeneuve, stars Oscar (R) nominees Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal in a story that poses the question: How far would you go to protect your child? Keller Dover (Jackman) is facing every parent's worst nightmare. His six-year-old daughter, Anna, is missing, together with her young friend, Joy, and as minutes turn to hours, panic sets in. The only lead is a dilapidated RV that had earlier been parked on their street. Heading the investigation, Detective Loki (Gyllenhaal) arrests its driver, Alex Jones (Paul Dano), but a lack of evidence forces the only suspect's release. Knowing his child's life is at stake, the frantic Dover decides he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands. But just how far will this desperate father go to protect his family?

I've never been able to watch this...I have kids and feel it'd affect me too much, but after reading a little about it, sounds interesting to look for the Masonic 'Easter eggs' maybe.
