Any Firearm Collectors in here?

I'm a collector of firearms, especially WW2 rifles, pistols and revolvers. I have a curio and relic firearms license that allows me to purchase the without having to go through a FFL dealer. Anyone else?

I have a modest firearms collection but not for historical reasons. They're all just for shooting.

I shoot most of mine, I even shoot my 1874 trapdoor 45/70 once and a while. I do have a few that are safe queens, that I will not shoot, but I have examples of them that I do shoot.

This link explains the C&R license.

I started with U.S. WWI and WW2 firearms then moved to British, German, Italian, Japanese. It's become an addiction of sorts. Hunting down specific model's, model changes, different factory's. Researching makers marks, proof stamps.

Holding history in your hands and wondering if my K98 was used on the eastern front, was my M1 Garand used on D-day. I also collect militaria, helmets, field gear ect.

I have a very understanding wife.

I have a small arsenal. Enough to outfit a squad. One piece I am waiting on is an M1 Garand. Crossing my fingers it should be here by the end of the week.

Well to be honest having the curio and relic license makes you a FFL3.

One here as well....

Most of my collectibles were from family members. I have an M1 Garand that was my Grand dads during WW2, I have a 300 Savage 99 from 1926 and a Browning 1911 that was my great grand dads, a Winchester 8 guage shotgun that was my dads and another Savage 99 in .308 that was my moms. Thats about it for older weapons I own.
As far as "modern day weapons" I have several makes and models of 1911's, a S & W 500, Ruger .357, S & W model 60 (wifes main carry) couple of Glocks, 3 Springfield XD 45's (one in each length) various hunting rifles and shotguns including but not limited to AR15, & AR10.
Not that you could tell, but I tend to like guns.

Glad you enjoy. I use a Garand as a member of my American Legion Honor Guard. These rifles weigh about 11 pounds but with my health conditions it feels more like 40 to me. I have never been a fan of the Garand. My shooting preference is traditional styled muzzle loaders.

I can't call my self a gun collector as I only have two. I cave Gen1 Glock 17 and AK47 made by Saiga. I am just starting my shooting practise after many years. I would kinda like to have another 9mm perhaps Berreta or other 1911 or might want to have that 1911 model as .40/.44/.45 I am rather interrested in having .45mag or .357mag revolver too. IN Finland it is rather dificult to buy guns. Specially hand guns so I might not get a revolver or a 1911 of my own but rent from the range.

I'm by no means a collector but I hold sentimental value in a gun gifted to my grandfather for taking care of somebody that had no one else. It is a Springfield 410 guage double barrel shotgun with dual triggers and a mahogany stock. My dad called it a varmint gun (and rightly so).

Not a collector but do enjoy the second amendment as I escaped from a tyrannical state and moved to freedom.
