York Rite Petition Turn Around

Hello fellas, I recently petitioned my local YR/HRA and was wondering what the typical turn around on that was as to not bug them. They were going to vote on it as early as last Thursday. Is it a pretty long process as the BL is or usually quicker? Just curious. Thanks for your guidance.

Disclaimer, it's jurisdictional, yadda yadda yadda, etc...

Nope, it's super fast. The petition is read and voted on at the same meeting.

Just realized this about two hours ago, turns out the damn email with my signed petition never left my outbox on my phone so...I'm a little irritated to say the least...I guess I will be waiting another two weeks at least.

Don't worry. Two weeks is nothing. Two years is nothing. Someone said to me "masonry is not a race". :)
I had to wait total of 5 years just to join a lodge.

I was at an Extra Meeting at my Lodge. After the Degree I gave my Petition to join Chapter to the Chapter Secretary, which had been signed by the Chapter Scribe and HP. The next day the Chapter met and I got a call from the Secretary that I would be receiving the Mark Master Mason Degree the next month.

All told it was under 24 hours from submission to acceptance!
