I am so excited.
I just petioned to join MMM.
I was getting ready to join later this year or eaven next autumn because Mark lodges meet only three times per year but it seems that I might be able to step in in the first meeting of the year in february.

Thank you all.

I was pondering for a while if I want to take on the Mark now or later but my curiosity for the Mark has grown day by day because it is described as direct continuance for third degree.

I also advance to next chair in my blue lodge and the WM of my coming MMM lodge said because the lodge is fairly young there is need for officers in there too so I should be stepping to a chair there too in no time.

Actually, the Mark is a continuance of the Second Degree, falling immediately after the FC (chronologically). The Holy Royal Arch is a continuation of the Third.
Both are beautiful Degrees and I recommend them.

Swedish rite is very interresting. I think I try to get deeper knowledge on my blue craft and Mark first to understund and appreciate the differences and similatiries of Swedish rite. But definatelly something I really want to check out one day. :)

I'll admit it was different, but I think a little confusing, in Scotland we have to be a MM before you can take the MMM degree, but they then start to refer to you as a FC as you go through the degree work on the night, working your way around the play.

In my oppinion the mark ritual was fun and really different. There was a lot going on all the time. It might take me a while to really get to know this degree..

I really enjoyed the Mark degree too. I found it fun, friendly and considerably more relaxed than the Craft degrees.

You have to be a MM in the states, as well. Chronologically it would make more sense to make it available to FCs.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Mark Master mason Degree, as I did all of the Royal Arch Degrees.

I am anxiously awaiting participating in the next set of degrees starting this Spring as I have been appointed Master of the Third Veil in my Chapter for the year.
