Can anyone explain the journey and pleasure within chapter, council and commandery.
Also what was your reason for choosing York Rite?

I went both e.g. SR & YR I work in the YR because you must profess a belief in Christ and it is a continuation of the blue Lodge

After reading about the SR and YR, I choose the YR because it seemed to be an extension of the Blue Lodge degrees and the idea of Christian Freemasonry in the Commandery really intrigued me.

Regarding the journey, the Royal Arch is one of the best degrees in the York Rite and is a marvel to behold. The Cryptic degrees are good as well, but the Order of the Temple when preformed properly is an awesome degree as well (because of its length it's easy for the officers to get bored ;))

I have yet to go through the SR, but am considering it in February when San Antonio will have its next reunion.
