    Parkour or MovNat?

UPDATE: A jiu-jitsu academy is opening up near my home and is being led by a man who received his training directly from the Gracie family in Brazil. I'm not overly familiar with the style; just what I've seen in MMA. Hopefully once the training has become part of my everyday life I will finally...

    Burning Hiram )'(

First off: CONGRATULATIONS on being Raised!!! Burning Man is an annual, week long, artistic and altruistic event held in black rock desert; norther Nevada. It's a truly impressive experience for those lucky enough to participate. Tens of thousands of people converge and create a "city" of self...

    France's return to the fold.

Oh, Ok. :) See - that's the problem with reading text instead of speaking face to face. Intention is pretty often lost when you don't get to see body language and hear the inflection in a person's voice. I guess that's why so many people get into fights on Facebook lol. I'm so glad I walked away...

    Parkour or MovNat?

Never thought of that before but yeah that's a good idea. Joe Rogan talks about it on his podcast every now and then about how judo training does wonders to avoid those dumb injuries that happen to everybody at sometime or another.

    Parkour or MovNat?

Being damned near obsessed with Assassin's Creed makes me wish I had a chance to learn. Would have to really amp up my workout though. Not sure how my joints would do in the beginning.

    France's return to the fold.

Easy there. Don't have to be so short about it. I wasn't looking for gossip, and the implication isn't well received. Forgive me for not living so close to France. Being 4,000 miles away, separated by half of the American continent and a sizable body of water makes it somewhat difficult to keep...

    France's return to the fold.

I wasn't trying to imply anything. I was only wanting to know the details of what was done to make things right again after all of the political dabbling in which the GM had been involved and whatnot. If no concessions or general changes had to be made, then how is it that they returned to...

    France's return to the fold.

I heard that the UGLE has decided to reestablish full Recognition with the Grande Loge Nationale Française. Does anyone know what concessions were made on the part of our French Brethren that appeased the UGLE to allow Recognition again? Also, even though most Regular GL's follow the lead of the...

    Burning Hiram )'(

I've always wanted to go but it's too far away and having to travel 1600 miles to get home afterwards seems like it'd ruin the state of mind I "acquired" while there :D

    What is 'clandestine'?

I think the main issue arises from what is to be done when a newly initiated Shriner (non MM) travels to another State and expects to be accepted in a traditional Shrine. It wouldn't work and would only cause problems. As far as the Grand Lodge is concerned we have to look at it in another way...

    Cipher books

Actually, in Texas, it was legalized back in 2008. they may've reversed the decision since then but to my knowledge it's still legal for personal practice AT HOME, but NOT allowed in Lodge under any circumstance.
