  • Brethren, nice hearing from you. As to the degrees in this Valley, we receive the 4-8 in one day, the 9-18 in another day, and finally the 19-32 on another day. Of course none of these are on consecutive days. I'll be receiving the last degrees this coming October.
Hello brother. Do Canadian Scottish Rite members earn degrees as in Europe: one at a time? In the States we receive six to eight degrees in a two-day session to earn the 32nd.

I belong to the Valley of Houston and work wardrobe there. I also work a degree in the Galveston (TX) Valley. We're planning to present all 29 degrees each calendar year beginning in 2012. So, brethren will receive the same experience.

Hope the weather in Thunder Bay includes cool winds and rain. We've had neither here in Houston since the last week of April. That's when it got hot. Three rainy days since. Nearly 18 inches below for the year so far.

Stay in touch and provide us with a little insight into masonry in your part of Canada.

    God speed.
