That's good information. I wasn't sure if I would be able to find something near enough to a grocery store. I'll definitely look around in that area and see what I can find. It's been so long since I've rented, I really don't even know what a good price is anymore. The Rice Lofts are about $900 at the lowest & that's really pushing my budget. I've heard I can find better deals, but time isn't doing me any favors at this point!

I am married, but my wife & son will be staying behind in Port Aransas for at least the first year. Hopefully they will be visiting often, but I think that still puts me in search of a domicile for a single. We share a single car & I figured it would be nice of me to leave her with that, so I'll be using public transportation. I've considered the Heights, but everything I've looked at has been too pricey for someone trying to hold a mortgage and pay for law school while not working. On the internet I stumbled across a place called Post Rice Lofts that are located just a few blocks from my school, but they had mixed reviews. Do you have any idea knowledge of those units or anything else in that area?
