They sold the original building because they didn't have the funds to bring it up to code and maintain the building. Once they sold the building they had funds to build a new one but not enough to purchase land and a building. Now they will be able to build a new Lodge.
Brothers, I have the extreme pleasure to post an update on this story. As of last month, the McGregor Lodge # 376 was to read their resolution for the third time to officially close their lodge and become part of Crawford. On the day that they were to read the resolution for the third time...
The last stated meeting for McGregor Lodge #376 in their 116 year old building went off without a hitch last night. Every chair was full and then some.Denton Stanford Lodge #594 supplied the meal and Brothers from several different districts attended. It did the heart good to send off the...
Congratulations on your recent ascent to MM Brother Thomas. I highly recommend that you find and read a copy of "A Pilgrim's Path" by John J. Robinson. It is a great book that outlines some of the negative (misguided) views of Masonry and where they came from. The key to these situations is...

Anyone got an idea what prompted the last minute edict being enforced? They reference 2007 when a resolution was PASSED to recognize the riding club but on the last day, after most people had left, a Brother got up and asked to reconsider the vote because their patch depicted a woman on a...
I just noticed that but they are pay to play in order to get the contact info. I've engaged the William Morris agency and should know something soon. Thanks for the help.
Brother Mark! that's why we have copious discourse in order to identify if it's trending data or conflicting. I'm happy to know I may have just received a bum batch vs. all their rings coming out like mine. I will contact them with my observations to find out what the options are.
