    Code Books

Interesting differences. As an EA and a FC we are issued paperback books with the code in them for the next degree. When I became a MM we were given three books. A Masonic Bible and two hard cover books one with the degrees and one is floor work. I understand and agree with the desire for...

    Code Books

We can not use them in open lodge but have them to use while learning, practicing and teaching. Why have them if you don't use them? They were given to me with my apron after my raising.

    Your Ring

I say its your ring wear it the way you want. In college I was told to wear the school name, Norwich, so I could read it until graduation. I was then told to turn it out so others could read it. Lots of Masonic ties to Norwich. But people know what it is either way you wear it. Find what you...

Which one was the most diffcult?

The EA lecture was the toughest for me. The Fellow Craft was easier because I'd already learned how the lectures work. We don't have a MM proficiency here in VT but I plan to memorize the MM lecture too. I'm about half way there.

What Do New Freemasons Really Want?

I would not have wanted to do all three in one day. How the heck do you learn the degrees and the lectures? I can't see how you would. I was nervous when I was examined in open lodge but I was also excited and proud when I finished and received a round of applause.

    why are Catholics "excommunicated"

I had both if my daughters baptized Sunday after Mass. I took my Proud to Be a Mason tie tac off my tie!:blink:No lightning bolts! Seriously I sat and thought during mass and I will not be vocal about my membership but I'm not going to be ashamed either. I did have a friend approach me...

Where did you get your 1st MM RIng?

Thats a great idea! I was confused when Bob told me who the books belonged to. I pointed at the inscription in pencil and Bob smiled. Then I realized our friend had to have been at least the second owner. I will type something up and put a copy in each book for future brothers. Thanks.
