Hello brothers,

Are any of you Marshalls or have been Marshall's at your Lodge? Please share with me your thoughts and/or experiences in that position.
Thank you so much!

Alex

Brother Hosler,

In Texas, His Jewel is the Crossed Batons. The Marshal is the Lodge's Conductor.

The Marshal of a Masonic Lodge is an appointed officer of the Lodge. The Marshal is in some jurisdictions the "Director of Ceremonies". The Marshal's duties and principle role is the organization of processions and ensuring the correct precedence and etiquette in formal proceedings. The Marshal's position is similar to that of a Supervisor.

Ok. I had seen him sitting during a stated meeting. Last night I attended an EA Degree and the Marshall prepared the candidate. I'm used to see the stewards doing that.

The local OES Chapter takes pity on us and gives us a good feed on meeting nights. We get a lot of visitors because of it....
