I can only imagine how frustrating this must be for you.
As an "outsider looking in" I see that Freemasonry is very much about one's freedom to choose his own path, teaching and belief. Yes, Mason's MUST believe in a supreme being, the great architect of the universe and all that is in it, but that is of personal choice. ALL mainstream beliefs are welcome and as a sign of this, their holy book is opened inside the Lodge is respect of that fact. From my understanding, the Lodge or Grand Lodge does not even ask what religion you follow, only that you believe in a supreme being.

I wish you the very best on your quest moad, and I pray that you will find your path without causing complications for you or your loved ones around you.

Welcome, my friend. By all means, ask any questions you like. Most of them will surely be answered. A few questions we may not answer to non-Masons, because of the obligation that binds all Freemasons, but you may be assured that nothing of consequence to the uninitiated. In other words, we have no "secrets" of any kind that would affect how you, or anyone for that matter, would view the fraternity (despite what you may have heard).

The Internet is full of opinions and misinformation. Those that create those videos and blogs have made their own assumptions based on reading everyone else's. Their is only 1 truth and there is only 1 way to get it and that is by joining a Lodge and becoming a Mason yourself.

You won't find all of the answers to all of your burning questions by asking a Mason, as this is part of the secrets that Masons hold.

Many people before you have tried and failed and that has added to the great mystery. Just because its a mystery does not make it sinister.

Good luck in your search!

Most predominantly Muslim countries prohibit Freemasonry - I doubt that Yemen has ever had a lodge - to cite a tragic instance Iran executed Freemasons by hanging after the revolution of the late 1970s. While you could most likely become a member of a lodge in India, you might not be able to return to Yemen.
