Making good men better?

How did Masonry make you a better person in a way nothing else could? Did it switch on a light that has always been there or implanted a new one?

even i took initiation in poor knowledge lodge, seeking light still continue!

All i can say, thru Freemasonry could find a source of light which already existed in me!

In brief, Light is ahead us and in us, only we need to see: as Lord said!

The first thing that comes to mind for me is temper. I have always had a short fuse and a potty mouth, specifically when I'm driving. I had one girlfriend leave me because of my temper and still didn't change. After putting in my petition, I realized that I look at things with a different perspective now than I used to. Maybe the person that just cut me off has had as hard a day at work as I did. Maybe they have serious issues at home with sick loved ones. Heck, maybe they are in a hurry because they need to pee. I have always pretty much known about the Golden Rule, but it seems to me that since I've been raised, I'm actually trying to live by it.

Good replies thanks. Has anyone experience becoming this better person right from EA degree?
