Thank You, W. Bro. Walters.........I have quite a ways to go before I get to the Scottish Rite, but now that I know that you're involved with the Phylaxis Society, I will be sure to contact you when I'm ready to join and seek FURTHER LIGHT..........My immediate goal is the Royal Arch........I have to wait a little while until my babies get a little older, before I can devote more time to another House.....Vince Jr. will be 3 next month, and the Twins Damien and Ashlye are now 19 mos........I should be ready for the Red House by Summer........Once I complete the York Rite Degrees, I will tackle my studies for the Scottish Rite Degrees...................I always appreciate your insight and knowledge as it relates to Masonry. The BEST thing I did was get "healed" over to PHA in Aug 2010, my Brother............Thanks for the post..................VINCE

Dear Br. Jones,
I can appreciate your statement & feelings regarding your small children. Learning how to use one's own 24inch guage and putting it to use are most important in the EA degree. Continue to utilize that lesson...

As for the Holy Royal Arch, it will be there when you feel ready. After all, having made suitable proficiency in preceding degrees prepares one to move on & shows the brethren that you are prepared also, so be mindful of that.

If I can give this word of CAUTION. Do not allow yourself to become dues-poor. It means do not become member of so many bodies that you expend so much money on organizations that your 24inch guage doesn't permit you to enjoy or attend the meetings thereof... just a thought I AM passing on.

Take care Br. Jones
