What Type of Mason are You?

Are you an active member
The kind that would be missed
Or are you just content
That your name is on the list?
Do you attend the meetings
And mingle with the flock.
Or do you stay at home
To criticize and knock?
Do you take an active part
To help the work along
Or are you satisfied to be
The kind that just belongs?
Do you ever go to visit
A member who is sick,
Or leave the work to just a few
And talk about the "clique"?
Think this over
You know right from wrong,
Are you an active member
Or do you just belong?

Although we have examples of every kind in lodge both near and far. It's important to define which type will you become. Remember we are builders therefore we should build up and not destroy.

Bro Staton what inspirational and accessible wisdom you've shared......words to remember and to live by not only in FM but in life. With your permission I will like to share this with my BB in South Africa, if I may. Thank you kindly my Bro.

Bro Maritz,
Thank you for the kind words and when I read it I said I must share this as well. I think this is powerful and uplifting as well I plan to make a poster of it and ask to put it up in the lodge as a reminder of what not to become and what we should strive to be.
