Has any brother received any email from the UK asking

I have received a email from someone who claims to be a representative of a person who could be a relative of mine in the UK. This person is said to be a brother, his lodge is cheshire and the web site is cheshiremasons.co.uk. This person is Steven Adcott and I checked it out and it is legit. The letter seems too good to be true, the hold up is this man is a mason. If he was not a mason I would have deleted his email.

You could go the safe route: have your Sec go to your Grand Sec, who will go to his Grand Sec and finally his Sec for verification. ;)

It is not legit. I'm a retired solicitor in England, a PPrJGW in Cheshire and know the PrGM. This is a scam.

2 simple rules for life, one masonic the other not.

1 - A Provinicial Grand Master under the UGLE will NEVER write to you with a business proposition whilst mentioning his Masonic membership.

2 - If anything looks too good to be true, it invarioubly is!
