Congratulations. Pay attention to the FC degree. It sometimes gets lost in the shuffle with the excitement of the EA and the importance of the MM.

After each one I've felt that there is so much more to learn. Any suggestions for picking up on "the missing pieces"?

I am not a member of the York Rite, so I can't comment on the points made by Brother Joe above. That being said, WL Wilmshurst is a Masonic author and two of his books focus specifically on the EA and FC degree. The one on the EA is arriving today in the mail, so I can't comment on it as of yet. If it is good, I'll be picking up the one on the FC as well. Just a thought.

I'm always up for a good read. Please share any light on these books and I may just pursue them myself.

Well, I got The Meaning of Masonry and The Ceremony of Initiation in the mail last night. I haven't started them yet, but I plan to do so today. The most striking thing is how small they are. The Ceremony of Initiation is only 59 pages and that includes a handful of blank pages for chapter introductions. I could probably read these both today, but I realize that they'll probably require some contemplation to go along with the reading.
