Regarding PHA members

I guess it depends on the brother how he wears his ring. I was told that a mason should wear the points outward to let his light shine. But I was also told about brothers challenging you depending on how you wear it.

I've recently met a Prince Hall Mason and he had no idea of any password, word for a grip, signs, or due guards. However, I was sure that he was definitely legit. But anyways, I know that the teachings of PHA are slightly different, and what I am wondering is if Prince Hall Masons have such signs and due guards. Anybody know?

Bruh, it's apparent that You were not brought up right, and that Senior Deacon vouched for You. If I were You I would go back and ask that Senior Deacon about all them questions You are asking, this ain't the place cause these people out are vicious, and how know him to be a PH Mason???

Ditto Bro AC!, FC you are out of pocket get with SD , because the only Masonic intercourse you should be having in your Tyled lodge at 2nd degree and your lecture training with your SD. You are not entitled under PHA masonry until you are raised to 3rd degree. To all the right, lights, and etc..

So, the brother was doing you a favor young fellow craft!

He is from another jurisdiction, Grand Lodge of Michigan and appears to be a Master Mason now.

I think there are probably some variations in what is expected to be known in different jurisdictions. I know I spoke with someone on the phone that allegedly was Prince Hall and he started asking me all kinds of questions. I just had to tell that for one thing masonic intercourse was not allowed yet between our jurisdictions and I refused to answer any of his questions. I wouldn't have answered them anyway as there was no need to. Of course, I have no idea if he was really Prince Hall or not. Considering he told me he had a lengthy criminal history, I would hope that he was not.

Considering that this thread is two years old, I would think that he is ready. Let's not assume that all jurisdictions all in the same manner.

Bruh, if u are on top of your game in Masonry that's the last thing that should be on mind, getting challenged..I wear my light proudly and not ashamed to answer any question that's given to me. My recommendation is get ur head in them books, attend them meetings and sit in them seats to be more proficent in them degrees, it's them up and coming MM that's gonna challenge u. What they say "This little Light of mine, I'm gonna let it Shine"

That's the problem. There is no need to challenge anyone outside of lodge. This ain't a college fraternity. No one does that type of behavior in my jurisdiction.

Bro Richard, I see U. Some people not addressing some of these question that go unanswered for years and sometime they continue to do the same thing, I keep reading some of this stuff and it seems that a lot of Brothers are Misinformed, and they always say somebody "told " something, now since joing this sight, I'm on here maybe twice a week or more, and I like what I see...I'll leave it at that..
