Today was a special day for my family. Yes, I'm kinda bragging here, but I am as proud as a son could be.I had the privilege to present my dad with his 50 year certificate today. The Grand Master was in charge of the presentations, but (as a lodge member, close friend, and traveling companion of mine) he deferred to me to make this presentation. I called up my mom, a member of our Eastern Star chapter, to pin on his lapel pin.

Congratulations to your father on 50 years. I'm sure it was quite the experience presenting his certificate and pin to him. I'm sure it meant everything to him as well.
