Washington Daylight Lodge No. 14

On Saturday (10-7-17) I visited Washington Daylight Lodge No. 14, in Washington, DC. I am a modern vampire (I work night shift) so lodges that meet at night are off the table. It was a fantastic visit and if things go well come December they will have a new member.

I'm not sure if I caught them on a great day but it was great. They donated $3000 to charity ($2000 of which was outside of the jurisdiction), put on education, had a meal, discussed upcoming elections/lodge direction, setting up events for new Master Masons to travel to other jurisdictions, etc.

Sounds like a fun evening. I love to visit other lodges when I get an opportunity. My work schedule is often hectic, and sometimes just making taking the first step is difficult, more especially so when you don't know any members of the lodge you are visiting. I would love to visit Washington DC one day, so much history there.
