Just finished my trek through the Hot sands. A awesome and funny experience. I really learned the valuable lesson working hard playing hard

Congrats, I’m sorry to say we have no Shriners temples locally from what I understand in my state which disappoints me greatly, apparently there was an attempt to get one running but to no avail.
You are blessed.

Oh yeah it was a blast! I didnt realize how much of an impact Shriners International do for tye children. I knew the hospitals but actually going to the temple/center and seeing what the small clinic does was an eye opener

I’m in ACT, Australia.
Don't think there are Shriners in the ACT - but there are Shriners is Sydney and Melbourne. I was a foundation member of the Melbourne Shrine Club. I think Sydney's Shrine Club fell over a few years back, but they are tying to revive it and often visit here in Melbourne.. Both worked under AAHMES in California.

Sadly, we only do a cold sands here.... but a large group went over for the hot sands in Livermore some years ago. Not sure if they are doing it yet as I resigned the other years... but I can put you in touch David if you want..

That would be fantastic and I will take you up on that, I was very disappointed when I found out about the lack of Shriners here. Presumably one must have been a mm for a couple of years so once I meet that criteria I’ll be in contact
