I am not shaming you or putting your organisation down nor am I judging you, there is no such thing as "micro-aggression"
I stated that you think highly of yourself because you claimed it was "light" that I was seeking from you, I was only seeking your opinion on my question, who are you to claim that you have "light" to give? Maybe you shouldn't take me so literally, I know a commune and a brotherhood is technically not the same thing as I presume you don't live and sleep together, it is however a similar thing.

otherstar again I will say I have asked many places the reason I asked here was because I knew I would get a difference of opinion do I automatically have an interest in becoming part of whatever organisation a person is in by asking a question?

I am not shaming you or putting your organisation down...
You're not very awoke about how you come across.
nor am I judging you,
That's becoming more difficult to believe with every word you post.
there is no such thing as "micro-aggression"
'To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead.' - T. Paine

potato potato
who are you to claim that you have "light" to give?
Who are you to claim it is not?
Maybe you shouldn't take me so literally,
Maybe you should not be shoulding upon our threads or at least be clearer in your figurative shoulding. Maybe you should take your own freely thrown advice when condemning those who use the word "light" figuratively.
I know a commune and a brotherhood is technically not the same thing as I presume you don't live and sleep together, it is however a similar thing.
<sigh> good lord... you truly don't have any idea how you come across and how insane your statements sound.

"Light" is a term used in Freemasonry for many things - but best described as knowledge. You asked a question, there were attempts at answers shedding light on your question, hence it is completely in order to say you sort "Light". Light *might* be about spirituality, but we can also enlighten you as to the practices and beliefs of Freemasonry, just as if you were in a lodge building and we told you where the toilets were - in all instances we've shared Light.

I'm catholic. grew up that way. my daughter made communion. and my son is supposed to make his communion next year.
I truly feel the only thing the church did for me and its huge. Is it opened up the doors for me to have faith and believe in god.
and its funny because I send my kids to religion once a week because its "traditional" and my daughter says I don't know why I have to go...
I believe in god and have a faith . And I must say how can I argue. I know plenty of people who tell me I have to believe everything In the bible.
I believe the 10 commandments are rules to live by and I do. from an early age I always had faith and belief in god. I feel that's enough. people
have different opinions about the bible and I never wanted get involved with all that back and fourth. I'm asking myself do I take my kids out of the
catholic church.. I don't know… if my children have faith believe in god and are kind and respectful do they really need a buffer to have a relationship with god. i'm ranting

Out of curiosity could you give us a little background on this Brother?
My friend grew up in Germany and his family attended church. Under the constitution of Germany the state deducts “church tax” from your paycheck along with your income tax and sends the money to whatever church “claims” you. As an adult my friend no longer attended church but was still having “church tax” deducted from his pay. So he had to go to court to get himself declared an Atheist to get it stopped.

Got it. I thought that you were referring to someone here in the United States. Very interesting info anyway that a government deducts a church tax.
