I have w question brothers

Hello brothers my name is yasir , I live in USA
Wa ., I’m so proud, motivated , happy that I have a meeting coming up , to get started , join this greatful family brotherhood and become one of you guys I love Freemason from all my heart , I believe allot in supreme being , the only thing I’m scared about and I wanted to ask some of the brothers about is this I been in usa for 4 years I entered legally , I was under the age but now I don’t have my green card yet Is that a problem for me to become a member .? I’m scared of this that’s why I wanted to get answer thank you brothers much respect.

It varies by jurisdiction but you generally need to be a US citizen. I cannot speak for GLoWA, though.

Here in Victoria Australia, you only need to be a resident for 12 months, otherwise you need Dispensation from the Grand Master.. but with it, we could admit a man who does not live in the State (which happens on the border).

After a bit of research I find I am mistaken regarding California, at least. “Applicants must be a resident of California.”

As to the question regarding Canada; no idea, you’ll have to ask a Canadian Mason.
