Raised my son

Last night I had the honor and privilage of raising my only son. I had beed the SD through his first 2 degrees. We had the Knights of Meca come in and do the masters degree and they allowed me to raise him. Great degree.
It did bring a lump in my throat as I was so proud of him. I actually presented him with my first master masons ring.
For those that have done it, you know what I am talking about and those that haven't, I hope you get to some day.

Congratulations, it is definitely a moving experience. I was honored to be able to raise my son with my dad as GSW. It is the #1 event in my Masonic career to date. I was raised by my dad & he was raised by his dad.

Congrats Brother! My biggest and really only regret about Masonry is that I didnt do it sooner and be able to sit in lodge with my Grandpa. But my uncle came from Tx to Ms, over 10 hrs away to be there the night I was raised. It is a night that I will treasure for the rest of my life, as I know your son will! My uncle gave me my Grandpas ring that was my Great Grandfathers.

Being raised

That must have been a great experience. I do not have son but I do have a younger brother who is craving to become a master Mason. I look forward to seeing him raised.
IM happy for you and your son/brother
