Who is the "Great Architect Of The Universe"? This question isn't to incite a religious debate, but to provide Brethren an opportunity to express their interpretation.

HE is the guy/gal who laid the first cornerstone from which we build, he also draws the designs upon the trestleboard by which we can pursue our habors.

God. Supreme Being. What Bro. Kurt Said.

The interesting thing is, I think "The Great Architect Of The Universe" is a wonderfully descriptive answer to the question "Who is God?". Most of the Hebrew names for God are descriptive of his nature. Elohim, for example, appears to be the closest, meaning God the Creator (and much more). I really like the term Great Architect Of The Universe because it is our descriptive name, which we identify as the highest power or supreme being based on our frame of reference (a craft of building buildings). The highest honor, the best we can ever be as a mason is a craftsman, a master craftsman, but still just a craftsman. There is always the architect who gives out the orders. He is the mastermind and the final judge of the entire building.

I have been thinking of how to answer this topic, and the more I think of it the more I come to this answer. It is the atom that banged many many eons ago. The thing that makes up all of what we see. The original atom that was the "big bang". Science has "proven" many things but the one thing quantum physics or any other science can't explain is what created the atom. For that I say the Architect of the Universe.
