Well finished my Chapter degrees and they rocked ... my two council degrees are coming up soon so I am excited about that and the commandry degrees .

This is pretty funny I may like it because I don't think masonry is talked about enough in our culture ... could do with a little less profanity ... not because I view masonry as a church but due to the fact that I struggle not to say certain words when I get angry so hearing them less would...
I don't see anything elitist about any of this . It's called keeping the doors open and doing more than carrying a card . The folks in the 20s and 30s weren't the founding fathers and paid much more because it was important to them . We were important to them because they wanted to leave us...

I am in Texas and endowed in my home lodge and not old enough to be a life member anywhere lol let's hope I make it one day . I want to know if I affiliate and keep my membership at home can I hold office in the affiliate lodge ?

In Texas the endowment is only 500 ... funny when I was raised they said the dues were 45 and I too thought that was per month lol in 2002

Most at 65 are normally endowed ... too bad they voted down raising endowment to 1000. My sr and shrine endowments are more than lodge and it should be the other way

Went to lodge last night ... not stated meeting just lodge ... by 1945hrs they were turning lights out and locking up .... 45 min .... If I wanted just a social for 45 min a bar at least has crown and coke lol
