    The Ruffians 101 - Part 1 and 2

Thanks for the presentation. As a Mason, I love to "dive deep" into the Ritual symbols. It is a never end to learing something new. I love this. This is what Masonic education is all about. I will be using this presentation to share with my fellow Lodge memebers. Sometimes we follow along in teh...

Is there a specific color and styles for the Worshipful Masters hat.

It depends on Jurisdictions. I am from Alabama, and we wore top hats. I am living here in Texas and most of them wear Cowboy Hats. For me, I am old school and prefer the hat to be of a leaderships style, i.e. top or fedora type.

    Having your light taken

Unfortunately it is a "gangsta" culture mentality. That is why it is imperative to screen the applicants. I know back in the day, screening wasn't done too much because it was about the numbers. If you think about the gangs in the way they treat each other or those of the opposition, it was...

    Having your light taken

Good evening, Brethren. I think most of the comments are valid. As a MM passed in the early 90's, I was a College student (HBCU) where brothers were all over the place. When I tell you I was excited and on fire for Masonry, I am not joking. I became a Past Master a few years later and I was...

    Need help

I agree with Winter. I am not sure you quite grip what the Brotherhood is or what it is about. I don't mean to sound skittish, but this isn't the Mob where family members are fighting for "power". If your pops and granddad were members, hopefully they were members of a Just and Constituted...

Greetings from the North East (NH)

I completely understand. I am a 30yr+ member from the MWPHGLof AL. I am a P.M. and current member in good standing. I moved to TX in late 2000 but kept my membership active in AL. Due to family and person obligations myself, it kept me out for a while before being reinstated. And even with my...
