I'm looking for a jeweler in the Arlington or west fort worth areas that would be willing to work on a 50-60 year old ring. I have my great uncles ring that needs to have a rivet replaced before I loose the stone in it.
Thanks
I hope they weren't Masonic ashtrays. Those are getting hard to find. I managed to find one that was ment for cigars and had to pay a little more than I wanted but it's worth it.
For those of you who have been to the GLOT you may have been through the hallways of the lower levels where there are pictures of every lodge in Tx. I got to thinking the other night I would be great to see where we all call home.
Onion Creek Lodge No. 220, Austin, Tx
I have noticed that not only is it a "Good Ole' Boy" system but that some lodges hold the "power" to control the position. I think it would be a good idea if the DDGM was set on a rotating lodge basis as well as having a panel of PM to grant approval. After all they represent the district not...
For me the only somewhat difficult part was the EA obligation. Once I got past that everything it was all easy. The FC and MM work wasn't that bad at all.

No it's not hoarding it's collecting antiques. Yes even the 10 year old can of beans every lodge has but doesn't know where it came from. Hey 01 was a great year for ranch style beans.
I'm going to have to go with the shrine. But that's only because the FMRC isnt up there and Ben Hur has a motorcycle club.
I am a member of the Shrin, scottish and York rites. But if I only had to pick one that is what it would be.
The best way to inform the missinformed is to have them spend a day in Galveston. If they leave the hospital without a change in view all hope is lost on them.
Tell them all Russ said hi and if they need anything my number hasn't changed. If I remember right I was W.M. when Ben and Curtis came through and I took part in Dennis's degrees. Are the Sanders still real active? Gene taught me all of my work and Mike was my S.W.
I wish I could be there...
My home lodge is a "working mans" lodge we have members that are retired military to doctors to surveyors such as myself. I have seen brothers wear anything from suits to shorts and it doesnt bother me one bit.
Honestly to me this whole image thing is nonsense. A brother is a brother no...
OCL is a State Historical site so we are limited to what we can and can not do. We are set off from the road and in a somewhat secluded spot. How ever we do have several police officers that visit our grounds during the day and night as a place to fill out their reports and such.
