There used to be a lot of good Masonic activity on Twitter, but I gave it up because the amount of chat became too overwhelming. People were generally very nice and polite. One of my twitter friends was the MWGM of one of the two UK women's GLs - HFAF. A most gracious and approachable lady.
I suspect you all know this and that it wouldn't bother a lot of brethren, but if you make a post in any subreddit, users in the sub can click on your profile to see where else you have been posting in, including r/freemasonry and the like. It's standard practice to help judge how real a poster...
I found that tapping on his name, then tapping on “Ignore” not only silenced him, but made all his posts disappear. Peace. :) I was therefore blissfully unaware of his return.

The active / acting jewels do belong to the province though. Once you’ve had your time in office, it’s almost like they have bouncers there to relieve you of it before you can leave the building after the PGL meeting! The Essex ones don’t look golden like this London one. I’m guessing, but I...
Almost exactly right! I am currently a Past Provincial Senior Grand Deacon in the province of Essex, and yes, there are matching collars. UGLE has provinces in mainly England and Wales, and districts overseas. The collar jewel is actually fancier than the active PSGD’s, IMHO which is a plain...
Ah! I thought I had returned my past, sorry, installed ;-) master’s to my lodge for reuse as is our custom when I got the dark blue ones, but I hadn’t. I found it looking rather sorry for itself (don’t worry, I’m pressing it under some books.) These are standard English ones. I always thought...
