Brethren, I have an interesting January.
As you all may know I'm a young and fairly new mason for less than a year and just raised few months before, I received 9 summons or invitations and went to 7 meetings last month. It may be a bit crazy for a new mason and I nearly showing up in the lodge...
Hmmm... In my experiences in here(UK not US), we will generally introduce the potential candidates to two masons that willing to approach to the candidates. Normally they are in a family. Father and Son, Brothers etc etc...
Maybe you just reply him "I don't know any masons, can you introduce two...
"Union" GL and "Stringer" GL are the two Prince Hall GLs got generally accepted in all US jurisdictions but just simply not the UGLE.
Your grand lodge should recognised these two GLs and you should check it up yourselves.
When talking about the warrants of lodge, I visited a very historical lodge last Monday and their lodge warrant is just like the things that we can see in the museum, very oldish but prestigious. The warrant is issued by the Grand Lodge of England in 1777. This is quite shocked for me to see it...

In my lodge I paid £225 for initial cost including the initiation fees and annual dues and it's lower than other because I have the student concessionary prices...
In England I think annual fees are around £100 per year but you will have some charity donation extra, it still depends on lodge customs
There is also one in Ireland jurisdiction called Lodge Ireland 2000 but still no virtual meeting.
The only one that hold virtual meeting is Castle Island Virtual Lodge I think but I'm not familiar on that one.
Ah... I'm ok with both hands in writing and both legs with playing football. Also I feel ok wearing masonic ring on both hands. However I can't wear my watch on my left hand, just uncomfortable.
