Installations went off without a hitch last night. Also had the pleasure of making a new gavel for the incoming Master. The full story is here.

This is a pretty well put together video by the UGLE, and for what it represents, I'm only going to consider it as a primer. I hope they expand on more of the 'nature' of Freemasonry and go deeper than what is presented.

I think 'off the beaten path' is a good location. Thinking long term and future city planning and new road development...it's hard to say how long your property will be isolated. Having some sort of a 'everlasting' monument to masonry to commemorate this anniversary would be fantastic. Think...
We have an important date approaching us all. I have been talking about this date and project at my home Lodge for more than a year, and feel that to get any traction on the idea, it is necessary to put this proposal to all of you.
We have a birthday coming up. In 2017 we will have our 300th...
Your wife can put whatever she wants on her car. She's not a mason. Furthermore, the Blue Slipper emblem has a square and compasses on it.

Consider the following :
Those who become Freemasons only for the sake of finding out the secret of the order, run a very great risk of growing old under the trowel without ever realizing their purpose. Yet there is a secret, but it is so inviolable that it has never been confided or whispered...
I've been secretary for a little bit now, full time employed, average family size, and a lodge of 210 members. The 150 years of garbage and empty utility envelopes, piled in the secretaries office, made a very difficult barrier to entry to this Office. I have converted nearly every reoccurring...
Yes it’s short notice. Yes it should be awesome! It is with much excitement and anticipation that Round Rock will host a Pink Petticoat Lodge. A Pink Petticoat Lodge is where Ladies guess what goes on behind the closed doors of a Lodge meeting. I’m told it’s quite funny.
This is a rare...
Ok... I'm trying something completely different. This project is for showing people what you carry with you on a day to day basis. Snap a photo and post it.

I call this my 'Patriot Pack'
While these are all the same theme they are each different. I felt inspired by the new year and, with the presidential debates ramping up, wanted to boost some patriotism.
I have more Masonic country flag based images coming - sit tight.

You may have seen the proposed credit card image that I worked on at Grand Communication this year in Waco Texas.
Well this is a slight spin on that one. Mainly it’s missing all of the credit card placement items.
It was high time that I made a Texas Mason wallpaper that hopefully rings true...
I think it is important, especially when ordering apparel online, to take note if the image of the shirt is a photograph rather than a digital image. Even this site has no real inventory. http://www.christwear.com/sanctify-guys-christian-t-shirts.html each shirt is the same with a different...
While I am in agreement that a non Master Mason should not wear the Square and Compasses for obvious and pragmatic reasons, I have read this thread and still see no hard evidence or GLoT law stating that you can not wear the Square and Compasses unless you are a Master Mason. Can someone provide...
With all the elections and brothers assuming elected and appointed roles for the first time, I wanted to track down a complete accurate list of lodge officer duties for both appointed and elected positions for the Grand jurisdiction of Texas. I have found much of the same regurgitated...
