I think once we get our own building, we could do it. But the shear volume of items needed to do it at Holland Lodge would be too much.

I can see how the logistics of it could become extremely complicated. Could one of the PHA brothers give us a hint on how their MWGL handles it?

Would it take a resolution in GL to start one? How would that work? Just interested in the mechanics of doing something like that.

"Under whose jurisdiction I may be...." I was under the impression that this covered it. But I also beleive that Texas Rules trump all others if in doubt. Excellent question though I can't wait to see what others say, I plan to visit other states as well and would like to see the impressions...

We use our fund-raisers as fun raisers and have a good time doing them. We alos give out two Scholarships every year and use the fundraisers for those. We as a lodge function also help the Shrine "sportsmen" as workers for their hospital fund-raiser, its a lot of fun and we've met some really...

What does it take to create a "traveling" lodge in another (be it War-torn) country? Or better yet on a military base etc...

I have heard of "period" degrees where everyone dresses in old time western wear, or civil war outfits with matching time period aprons. From what I've heard its supposed to be really breath-taking.
