Get some grey or silver tape and put over "Widows Sons" and wear the buckle. Btw I think the edict is bs. Good looking buckle. Sent From My Freemasonry Pro App

    One black ball?

You should not hear a "clunk". The ballot boxes in Texas are supposed to be heavily padded, which I assume is to prevent disclosing in any way how an individual may have cast his ballot. I'm not trying to be cute or catty, but I would suggest you purchase a copy of the GLOT Laws. I'm sure the...

    One black ball?

Doug, that is all well and good but in Texas all members of the lodge in which the vote is taking place must vote if present. Not pretend to vote.

    One black ball?

Bro lins, I'm going to respectfully disagree with you on the number of black balls or cubes to be placed into the ballot box. 5 is certainly not enough for all the members usually present at a stated meeting to vote should they be inclined to to vote with a black ball or cube. Glot laws state...

    Masonic tube

Otherstar, I'm more inclined to think it used to hold a document. But not a Texas charter. They are way too large to fit into the tube. Patent, maybe, but there is no SR insignia (two headed Phoenix ) on the tube. Only the S&C. I don't know if I mentioned it, but the tube was found on a farm in...

    Masonic tube

It sure won't hold a present day Texas apron. I've been a very active Texas mason for 44 years and it's the 1st one I've seen. My grandfather was raised in 1923 in Alabama and his apron might stuff into it, but I doubt it. My Freemasonry

    Masonic tube

Found at a farm a friend of mine bought recently. They knew I was a Mason and gave it to me. After a lot of elbow grease and some WD40 I managed to get it open. Alas, it was empty. At first I thought it was an apron tube, but it's only 1 3/4" diameter. What are your thoughts as to what it is...

    Yearly Dues

Initiation fees and yearly dues vary from lodge to lodge in Texas. Yearly dues are due on or before Jan 1st of each year. If not paid by June 23rd you will go suspended for non payment of dues which is not good. Btw my lodges yearly dues are $125. Freemason Connect HD

FAQ: Why do some Lodges meet on a day following the full moon? Are they moon worshipers?

Re: FAQ: Why do some Lodges meet on a day following the full moon? Are they moon wors The last Moon lodge I attended was North Zulch lodge between Bryan and Madisonville, Texas. This was about 30 years ago. Not sure if they are still meeting by the moon on Saturday nights. Happy Easter Brothers.
