As I am sure I have mentioned here in the past, in my jurisdiction one must wait 2 years prior to petitioning to join the royal arch or AASR.

I now have but 11 more months to wait before I can start my paperwork.

Interestingly there may be hope of being able to join the AASR as it’s trinitarian only here but one of the local chapters is considering adopting the universal ritual.

In my view Holy Royal Arch and Rose Croix both take us into the Sumerian mysteries (Abraham was from Sumer). Blue lodge deals with the Egyptian mysteries via Moses.

This is an interesting view. I am somewhat into the esoteric side of Masonry myself. Would you care to explain further?

I believe tonight is the night the AASR meet to discuss the proposed changes, it would seem tonight the decisions is made if it will be possible for me to become a Scottish Rite mason.
