Seriously those of you in the US should look up Barrister and Mann or sterling for your shaving soap/aftershave/EDT needs. World class gear, plus ask me about my Masonic razors
Douglas Adams Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy was one of my favorite books growing up. So much so that I named my daughter after one of the characters. “Trillian” (Tricia Marie McMillan) Sent from my iPhone using My Freemasonry
Let's look at the task logically: if + + 42 = X. Considering the first axiom after Deep Thought, the variable X is the answer to the mathematical question + + 42 inevitably assign the value 42. From this follows: + + 42 = 42. Since and obviously represent different values, so 0 + 0 + 42 = 42 to be excluded as a solution. This results in the only logical conclusion, that is = -. Example: X = 42 = 333 = -333 ergo: -333 + 333 + 42 = 42 Gesendet von iPhone mit My Freemasonry
I agree with Coachn this time. In any case if the above is really an "equation" it has too many variables to be solved in one way only. In other words any combination of value is a solution. Just to smile a little, according to italian "smorfia" (neapolitan way to dream interpetation) the above "equation" is 19 + 19 + 42 = 80, while according to an english book I found online about "dream interpretation" is 42 + 42 + 42 = 126. What about other system ?
Well sir I actually have 3 http://www.phoenixmasonry.org/masonicmuseum/rodgers_and_sons_masonic_straight_razor.htm http://www.phoenixmasonry.org/masonicmuseum/ararat_safety_razor.htm http://www.phoenixmasonry.org/masonicmuseum/ever-ready_masonic_safety_razor.htm As for Barrister and Mann, they are a US based artisan shaving soap producer, awesome products and quite reasonably priced.
Wow, those are gorgeous....I may have to google some and look for one. I have an old school safety razor with replacement blades but would be cool to have something Masonic.
Yes indeed, lots of great history behind them. I love my Safety razors and having a Masonic history behind it is very cool
