Here's one Canadian at least that was proud to become a brother in 2014 :) , I can honestly say that I've truly met an honourable group of men in my lodge. We do a "Travelling Haggis" whereby we will go as a group to visit other smaller lodges in the province and support them in their Burns suppers and it is so much fun. Totally in the spirit of travelling and visiting and I always enjoy telling my friends about it when they ask about some of my experiences being a mason.

I wonder if that travelling Haggis would spoil crossing the Rockies..
Hope one day to do some travelling and begin visiting B.C. and outwards across.

Seems Canadians are having the same problem as us, more brothers dieing than joining. Is this the case?

Per The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Texas committee report in December we lost 3,454 to death and brought in approximately 3000 in 2014. Nearly a wash with Canada's numbers. Both GLs have approximately the same number of members.

So the question remains how does one begin to bring the numbers back up, properly of course.

Maybe those numbers from the post-war years were inflated and, frankly, to high.

This is to be an elite group. No in wealth or statute, but in spirit.

That doesn't sound like a numbers game to me.
