After suspending our tournament in 2020 (due to Covid), we are once again reviving this worthwhile event (Friday, May 12th). We started a Scholarship Fund in 1988 to award scholarships to our area high school graduates. Since that time, we have awarded more than 160 totaling more than $250,000. Since 2012, our primary source of funding has been our Annual Scholarship Golf Classic. Despite not having a tournament for three years, our members were committed to maintaining our recent scholarship levels. During the last three years we awarded 18 scholarships totaling $54,000. Realizing that this internal funding is not sustainable, we are now set to revive our tournament for 2023.
