Freemasonry Forsaken: 16 Abandoned Masonic Lodges, Temples & Halls

Interesting topic indeed. In Chicago, there are a few abandoned Temples throughout the city. It's been hard to not notice them as a Brother and wonder about their history.

A few are sitting as skeletons with designations of historical landmark buildings. But a couple have been repurposed for other organizations to make use.

it's intriguing how those building once housed prominent Master Masons, and probably had a lot of knowledge and Wisdom, It also reflects that we as Master Masons need to embrace our heritage and preserve our past....

That's so sad. All that history...
Why didn't they even take care of the pianos and organs?

Good houses for recording movies, though.
