I have asked a number of brothers as to how much expense is involved in the position of Grand Master for the year, and received as many answers as I asked? E.g. out of pocket. What do you think?

It's not just about out of pocket expenses, but loss of income due to traveling. I don't know how much he is reimbursed, but you'd have to be fairly comfortable financially to be Grand Master.

I know the year I was DD the Grandmaster was A.D.Hanna.. ! he told me that he spent, out of pocket 38,000... ! not including a new van.. ! and other minor expenses.. like meals, etc.. !
