Very good story. As I read it, I thought about the telegraphers of years gone by, and how we are remodeling an old RR station here to be used as a museum. I have been told many stories of the telegraphers who had worked there in early times, and missed meeting them. I also looked over at my "Old J-38", and thought of the similarities between his Grandfather, himself, and what I have seen and accomplished with communicatons. Then I read the part about the author being a Ham Radio Operator, and it all came into focus. Many of use share a lot, but the strongest tie, is that of masonry, and how we are able to accomplish great things with it's aid. Oh, and the fact it was posted by a Ham... :)
