The Grand Convocation for the Most Excellent Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas was held on October 8th & 9th and the Annual Banquet was held on Sunday evening October 7th. Companions of Helotes York Rite were recognized at the Banquet and at the Convocation.

On Sunday evening, Companion Joe Estlack (center in the picture) was awarded the Golden Keystone Award by Most Excellent Companion Tom Snyder, the Most Excellent Grand High Priest of the Most Excellent Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas. The Grand High Priest is permitted to award two per year and our good companion Joe was recognized this year with one of the two available for the Capitular Year just-ended.

On Tuesday, October 9th, Helotes Companion Bob Cox was installed as District Deputy Grand High Priest for Capitular District #22 (formerly 23) and Companion Joe Estlack was installed as Grand Senior Steward. The installation of R.E. Cox as DDGHP was particularly complimentary in that he replaced another Helotes companion, Bill Boyd (BroBill) in that office. In a district with six chapters it is an honor to be recognized with a DDGHP in two consecutive years.

The companions of Helotes York Rite are humbled and honored that the officers of the Most Excellent Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas have recognized the labor and companions of our Chapter and Council and we look forward to our future labors on behalf of our companions and the Most Excellent Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas.

Humbly, S&F
BroBill
