I live in Philadelphia PA and I would like to join The Prince Hall Free Mason Light of Elmwood Lodge number 45 in Philadelphia. How do I go by of joining The Prince Hall Free Masons of Philadelphia?

The lodge is located in the area where my business located I don't know anyone that's a member of the lodge I'm just interested in joining to better myself as a human being and make a difference in my community I been reading up on Free Masonry for a couple of months now and I'm very interested in the brotherhood I'm 26 years of age estranged grandfather and great uncle were Free Masons

Show up before their meeting and introduce yourself. Ask what you need to do to be sponsored. They'll want to get to know you so start showing up at that time every month. Expect it will take a few meetings before a member is willing to sponsor you unless someone you already know is a member there.
