Brethren:
This may sound like a strange question; but, is it necessary to demit from a lodge that you are an endowed member of? I do not plan to attend Lodge "A" any longer.
Also, I am currently SD of Lodge "A". Due to the pandemic, I have been placed in the same position at said lodge, and we have not completed our installation for the upcoming Masonic year. I am also a member of Lodge "B", which I plan on attending going forward. Both lodges are located in Texas.
I have no desire to burn any bridges at Lodge "A", and would like to leave on amicable terms. What would be a proper way to inform the WM that I no longer wish to continue with the progressive line?
I truly appreciate your insight.
