@bmac I've called for the past 3 weeks. Will it be better to just go by there?

@bmac not in Colorado Springs CO but I'm getting to the point where once I see a masonic sign on a car or a ring being worn I'm going to approach them for help

hah, well that would be one way to do it!

http://web.archive.org/web/20130403094850/http://www.mwphglco.com/grand lodge/lodges/lodges.htm (archived "snapshot" of the MWGLoCO website's lodge listing.. Gotta love the Way Back Machine ^_^ )

My advice is this: Find a lodge on that list that is local to you (if you click the lodge link, some lodges have web addresses listed; copy it and go there directly). Find their meeting time and show up an hour or so prior to their stated meeting. Discuss with them directly on becoming a member. Hope that helps!

In the US that tends to be the best approach. Use the web site to confirm the lodge you will approach is a valid one then so up an hour before their monthly meeting, meet the brothers and ask how to become a Mason. Masonry is in person so in person works best.

That's exactly the way I got my partition started went up to my neighbor who had the s&c on his car he just so happen to be a twice past master and 32nd degree MM so I kinda lucked up I'm sure if you approach one he will lead you in the right direction I'm still awaiting the process of being voted in

Went to the lodge and was told I'll be in contacted regarding petition. Hope to hear something good towards my journey of becoming a Mason. I believe I have something to contribute back to my fellowman.
