NBC/Peacock Announces Cancellation of Dan Brown's 'The Lost Symbol'

Non of Dan Brown's books were well represented, in my opinion, on the screen. They just didn't translate well. With so much of the exposition in the novels that made them enjoyable being carved away for their screen adaptations they were just not enjoyable for me. But the Peacock adaptation of The Lost Symbol was a special kind of steaming pile of hot garbage. They monkeyed around with that story so much, and not in a good way, that it was barely recognizable. It was almost as bad as Amazon's adaptation of the Wheel of Time.
