I’m new here and I look forward to join meetings at the lodge in Dubai. Can someone please share the location of the lodge in Dubai to me. Thanks

Freemasonry is not active in Dubai. It is not permitted by the Government in Dubai, so Lodges do not meet.

You can only join Freemasonry in person, that is you have to physically be initiated into a regular Lodge, so you will need to apply to join a Lodge in a country, or state that allows Freemasonry, this is normally only possible if you live or work in that country or state, different countries or states may vary the rule.

If you were born ion Dubai and live in Dubai, you will find it very difficult, but if you are an expat, you may be able to apply in tour home country.

Sheikh Mo did military training in England and Italy as a young man, so he could be a mason. You could ask him what he knows?

The GCC region, including the UAE, is evolving with increased international investments, leading to an enhanced lifestyle. People are becoming more optimistic and open to new opportunities. Establishing a Freemasonry community here would require diplomatic support and careful planning. It's essential to review and meet the necessary requirements to legally license such an organization as a service-oriented entity.

1. Establish dialogues with local communities to gauge interest and dispel myths or misconceptions about Freemasonry. Engaging educational programs or talks could help build understanding and acceptance.

2. Begin with a thorough analysis of the local legal framework to understand any potential restrictions or requirements for forming an organization like Freemasonry. Consulting with legal experts who understand both the local culture and laws is crucial.

3. Forge partnerships with existing organizations and influential figures within the region who share similar values. This could help in gaining the necessary diplomatic and communal support.

4. Utilize digital platforms to establish a presence and reach a broader audience. Providing informative content about Freemasonry’s history, values, and objectives can cultivate interest and dispel misconceptions.

5. Conduct thorough research to map out stakeholders and influencers who are crucial in the decision-making process regarding social organizations and community groups.

6. Partner with local NGOs, community groups, or charitable organizations to establish credibility and gain trust within the community. Engage with regional leaders and influencers who align with the values of Freemasonry. Their support could be pivotal in gaining diplomatic and communal acceptance.

That’s certainly true. Shocked, more like. I am no expert in this, but it might need sharia , or the way sharia is interpreted, to change. It could happen, I suppose. One day.
