I love poetry b/c I can throw proper grammar and spelling to the wind to get my emotions across or at least us that as an excuse! lol :) These 2 I posted I wrote shortly after high school.

Who Do I Think I am

Put things in order as your Told
Put things in order before you grow Old
It’s not supposed to Matter
For when you fall you do not Shatter
We love as were Told, very seldom creating our Own
In the sun we dance, with the moon we Howl
I must rejoice for I am the Cow
I’m thankful to my past, for creating me in the Now

I’m in charge & it does have Meaning
I know cause when were cut we all start Bleeding
Some are different starting from a Seedling
But we are all the Same
Only nature is to Blame

If I knew the answer True
It would not be the same for You
This life is Yours
In your mind exciting or Chores
So do as you please
Hell I don’t cover when I Sneeze

Only you can Determine
If Life is relaxing or seems if you’re always Squirmin’
So do as you Must
Eat the pie and the Crust
Trusting in yourself

Who are we and why do we Exist
Stop worrying,
I promise it ends with a Twist

Brother Rhit, You are indeed a poeit and have a strong mind.I like and agree with you. It brings to mind what our masonic Brother William shakespeare said :TO THY OWN SELF BE TRUE AND KNOW THY SELF. I think you say it well in your poem.
