Good evening Brethren. Just want to know if there are any Police brethren on this forum that would like to connect. I am a member of the South African Police Service myself with 24 years service

Meant to ask... did you ever serve at Moundsville? (or under Bordenkircher?) I think the riots took place in 86. Just wondering.

I did! Back in the 80s. Borderkircher was the Warden and his son, Chris, was a officer. He later resigned to run for Sheriff of Marshal County. I left before the riot occured.

lol, Moundsville was a notorious prison, and was shut down in the early 90's because it was deemed cruel and inhumane punishment.

Sir, I give you props! I have been in Moundsville several times (never as a guest lol) and that place made several horror movies I've seen look like candy land.

31 year Police officer here, started in 85 in Broward Co. Florida. After 12 years there, I went to Los Angeles County SO and worked patrol there until I retired. Wife and I moved to my present location. I got bored and went back to working here for the Sheriff's office. My wife is a retired Game Warden, who now teaches High School.

was raised by the NYPD degree team. Now that was a third degree I will never forget.
